Instead of Pining your items to an apron on your quilting machine, Take a cardboard tube cut in length (say 12-16-18,whatever best suits your project) then cut about 1/2 "out of the center the entire length, Place your project on the rod and push tube over it. Also is handy for sample when checking your stitching and etc.
